TOUGH ENVIRONMENTS CALL FOR TOUGH ADHESIVES
Silicone-based adhesives last longer and are more flexible than most other organic polymer adhesives. They provide excellent adhesion and bond strength to glass, wood, silicone resin, vulcanized silicone rubber, natural and synthetic fiber, painted surfaces and many plastics and metals. They are especially useful in harsh environments and extreme conditions such as high temperatures.
Momentive offers silicone-based pressure sensitive adhesives for challenging label applications and room temperature vulcanization (RTV) silicones for industrial sealing and assembly applications where exposure to high/low temperatures, UV or chemicals is an issue.
